Function of Office
The Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center with
participation and involvement of the community protects serves both juvenile offenders and
the community by:
- Screening, investigating, supervising,
counseling and referring for services juveniles involved in law violations.
- Providing detention that is safe, secure and
nurturing for juveniles who must remain in custody.
- Providing a residential treatment program in
a safe, secure, and nurturing environment in which juveniles are encouraged to change
behavior with therapeutic counseling, positive reinforcement and consistent discipline.
Mission Statement
The Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center, guided by
its statement of purpose, strives to produce the following valuable final outcome:
