Appointment of Attorneys
Criminal defendants are entitled to legal representation, but that does not mean the defendant is entitled to a free, court appointed attorney. Civil parties are also entitled to legal representation, but not to a free, court appointed attorney. If you are in need of an attorney but cannot afford one, multiple free resources are available to you.
