District Clerk

Barbara Sucsy

Lubbock County District Clerk’s Office and other departments within the Lubbock County system will begin transitioning to a new case management system on Friday, July 30th.  Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 30th, the efiling system and our current case management system will be down until the new system goes live on August 4th

Per the Supreme Court efiling rules, if the system is down, attorneys may file over-the-counter until the system is available.  Our office will be open normal hours of 8-5 on Monday, August 2nd, and Tuesday, August 3rd, to accept counter filings.  We will begin accepting efilings again on Wednesday, August 4th, at 8 a.m.

We highly encourage all law offices and pro se filers to file as much as they can in advance of July 30th.  When the new system goes live on August 4th, we will be experiencing new procedures and a new program.  Despite extensive training, we know we will make mistakes and know that our rate of data entry will be much slower until we are used to the new system.  We appreciate in advance your patience with us as we all experience this new opportunity.

If you are experiencing any problems with the District Clerk’s Office during this transition, please politely and patiently contact:
