ODR - Basic Mediation Training

Learn the skills necessary to become a mediator and enhance your professional skills by participating in our 40-hour Basic Mediation Training Program. Training includes a 5-day intensive program designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to mediate a variety of everyday disputes.
Communication skills, problem solving, confidentiality and ethics are covered in the training. Additional issues arising in the mediation setting are also considered, such as psychological, financial and legal matters.
D. Gene Valentini has been a mediator since 1981 and an active trainer for the past twenty years. Gene is the Master of Dispute Resolution for the courts of Lubbock County, Dean of Texas ADR System directors and is also an adjunct professor for the Texas Tech University School of Law.
CLE: 40 participatory hours, including 3 ethics
Exempt from Texas Proprietary School Act §132.002(a)(1).
